Most women wear a bra every day. It’s an intimate form of clothing, and women have clear preferences and feelings about it. Madhavi was annoyed that she couldn't find a wirefree bra like she had as a young woman growing up in India.
For Madhavi, manufacturing SimpleBra is more of a mission than a financial need, so she's better able to focus on her product and providing the best customer experience she can.

Manufacturing can be a challenging side hustle to take on because there is so much to learn. The potential for things to go wrong is somewhat higher than other categories, and the process of discovery is extended because of all the steps involved.
