today's question, in fact, is they're wondering about AI, specifically chat GPT. If you may have seen it in the news, as I said, it's an incredible tool. It's a pretty amazing and scary tool that has been all over the news, basically auto-generating texts. And there's also mid-journey and dolly, which you can make all kinds of AI-generated images and artwork of all kinds. So a listener is wondering how this applies to side hustling. That's what I'm coming to here.
I suppose an actual robot would be more concise. We'll work on it. But can you outsource your tasks to these tools? Can you put them to work? Can you make something using AI and sell it? Well,

AI is in the news everywhere these days, especially chat GPT. And I see that people are using it for copywriting and sending sales pitches. What are some ways to use AI in a side hustle?
Also, do you think AI will change everything the way some people say? Or is it like Web3 and other trends where the hype outweighs the reality? I'm curious to know your thoughts. Well, no doubt, AI is everywhere. AI is, in fact, changing our lives, you know, one way or another.
I think it's just a question of how much. I've spent some time with these tools. I had fun playing with Mid-Journey in particular, where you can make all this cool artwork. You just type in some words and all of a sudden there's a beautiful painting that appears on your screen. You can get all these variations of it and change it up in all sorts of ways. In my upcoming book, I'm going to
debut one of my AI images. This is a true story. I'm going to debut one of my images of a cat drinking a milkshake. I actually have a whole series of those. I decided to go kind of specific, you know, choose my niche more on that later. But do I think AI will change everything?
I think it's going to change a lot. You know, let's say that universities are already adjusting policies because of chat GPT, because you know, that whole like write an essay thing, you know, that thing you had to do if you went to college or probably high school as well. Writing essays is now a lot easier when you can just tell a computer to do it for you. And it actually comes out looking pretty good. So a few side hustle ideas to focus on that. Number one,
building and selling chat bots. So chat bots can be used to automate customer service, sales, other business processes. So somebody with coding skills could build and sell chat bots to businesses. I think we've actually featured at least two people doing that at different times. But now it's just getting easier and more advanced. Well, I guess that sounds contradictory. But what
I mean is it's easier to build them and they are more helpful, like they are better chat bots for less work. Okay, number two, offering some sort of consulting service, AI consulting, you know, companies, organizations, as well as individuals, but mostly companies, they need help understanding how AI can be used to improve their operations or develop new products. So there's a lot we could say about that. But that's the general idea. Third, content creation. Now, I think our caller
alluded to this, you know, chat GPT can be used to generate written content like blog posts, articles, product descriptions, like marketers are using it for all kinds of things now. So someone with a background in writing could use chat GPT to generate high quality content quickly and efficiently. You know, there's, you know, obviously more steps involved, but it can definitely streamline some things. And then speaking of streamlining and content creation and writing social media management, that's the last idea for the moment, you can use these tools to make social media posts, captions, responses to customers, and of course, images, you know, images, there's also audio, we haven't even talked about that. Like I said, I'm just touching on the tip of the AI iceberg. I do think some of these changes are going to be lasting and enduring. Of course, we'll see,
you know, two years from now, five years from now, how much of it is hype, because I'm sure there's a certain amount of hype, but I think there's something real to it as well.
