Words of Wisdom
A large part of Julia's success with JK Expressions came from putting a new twist on an older form of media. Caricature art has been around for quite some time, but for the most part, the practice itself has not changed over the years. Julia's shift to digital caricatures was new and fresh, and this allowed her to stand out from other artists and charge a much higher price.
Fun Fact
In the beginning, Julia was absolutely terrified to start her side hustle. Sometimes you have to go through some discomfort to get to something that works as well as you’d like it to. If you embrace the uncomfortable and keep moving forward, it’s like learning a language or learning to cook or any other skill: it's hard at first, but then with repetition you improve quickly.
