Jair from Portland wants to sell a toolkit to help sole proprietors become more efficient. He's not sure if it's a good idea — but more importantly, he doesn't yet know how to reach his market.

The first thing to clarify: don't just ask whether an idea is "good." Ask whether it's feasible and profitable. Can you see a clear path from where you are now to making real money in a reasonable time? That's what matters.

The second part of Jair's question is the more revealing one: "I don't know how to reach them." If you're not already well-networked in the world of freelancers and self-employed people, just showing up and saying "I have the answers for you" is a hard road — even if you genuinely do.

The idea also needs to get more specific: "toolkit" is general, "sole proprietors" is an enormous market, and "efficiency" is a worthy goal but not yet a clear offer. Narrowing all three would go a long way.
