Episode 806
THEMES & TAKEAWAYS: We’ve just finished week 11 of Season III and crossed the 800 episode mark! Yesterday’s story was about a math major who becomes a professional blackjack player, then creates a suite of resources for aspiring card counters. I mentioned how at first he had no idea how to make a website. Since he had no idea what he was doing, he approached a friend who owned a small SEO agency. The friend told him that he had a conversion problem—“I don’t even know what you want me to do when I show up on your website.” This prompted Colin to start reading blogs to learn everything he needed to succeed. Learn more about this takeaway and others from this week's recap episode. Additionally, we featured stories about a membership site for female digital nomads, an attorney who goes rogue and creates his own underground grad school, and more. ALSO! We’ve been doing the last round of ticket sales for WDS 2019. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out, take a look at WorldDominationSummit.com—I’d love to see you in Portland this summer. Last but not least, I’m starting to make a plan for my June tour featuring the all-new book, 100 SIDE HUSTLES. More info soon! In today’s recap: I want to share two messages I received on Instagram this week from our listeners. We’ll also have an audio update from a previously featured story on a man that flips sneakers.
WHERE ARE THEY NOW: Today, we have an update from Chris Cassedy, who was featured on the show in Ep. 290. Listen to the Weekly Recap to hear from Chris himself! You can also check out Chris's website, 513 Kicks.
