In this week's Throwback Thursday segment, we hear from Dale Janée, whose savvy idea was to make dreamy satin pillowcases. We first profiled her long ago on the show and again in the book 100 Side Hustles.
Since then, her business has grown a lot. In fact, I use one of her pillowcases myself, so I think of her often.
Two of my favorite parts of her update: first, on the challenge of running a business with kids — she's had to learn to manage her time so much better, using the hours she has to get as much done as possible. And second, a practical warning: don't waste money on unproven PR services.
