2024 coming up very soon, just a few days. And of course, things are always changing. So he's wondering what areas will be ripe for growth and innovation in the coming year? Well, I like it. Let's plan on starting a new side hustle next year or growing your existing one.

Hi Chris, this is Liam from Colorado. I've been a fan of your work for years and have successfully launched a few side hustles with your advice. As we're closing out the year, I'm starting to plan for 2024. Now with the evolving digital landscape and emerging trends, what do you think side hustlers like me should focus on for the coming year? Are there specific industries or technologies that you see as particularly promising?

All right, Liam, it's great to know that you are planning ahead for 2024. I've been doing the same as well, setting some goals, kind of planning to rework some stuff in my life and work in business as I tend to do every year. It's so good to keep things fresh. And I also don't look a ton at trends. I'll talk about this more tomorrow too because we have another question about affiliate strategies for 2024.
I tend to think more about overall momentum, not just like what is the hot new thing. Obviously AI is huge. Everybody's talking about AI for good reason. And there are gonna be lots of opportunities there. Digitalization and automation, just think about services or products that simplify life or work, such as apps that streamline tasks.
Remote work, people are still doing that. Lots of people, there's a bit of a backlash to it, but there's definitely obviously still a lot of people who are working remotely. So a lot of needs in those areas. Health and wellness, especially mental health. I'll probably talk about that some tomorrow as well.
Online coaching, wellness apps, any products that promote mental and physical wellbeing. Let's see what else. E-commerce, niche markets, e-commerce specialty markets, anything that caters to specific hobbies, lifestyles or needs. The more specific, the better, honestly. And then still anything to do with education.
Like I think that's always a good thing, to think about what you know that other people value, what skill can you share that other people can pick up on and apply, how can you monetize that in some form? There's a lot of different ways to do that, but I think that's a very smart overall top-down focus. And that's what I'm thinking about too myself. I'm gonna be doing some different stuff as mentioned. So I can't wait to share that with you.
