Excited to bring you that, I'm still into that. I wrote about that a bit in my new book, Gonzo Capitalism. Today is a little bit different though.

Hey, Chris, my name is Jack.

I'm calling from LA. I've been listening to your podcast the last six months while searching for some unique business ideas. I'm particularly interested in helping gamers who spend hours sitting down, but still wanna stay fit. I've noticed the lack of tailored workout routines for this group. What would you recommend as a first step in entering this niche?

How can I differentiate myself in an already saturated fitness market? - Hey Jack, so glad the podcast has been helpful to you. And I love how you're trying to get specific and think about bridging a few worlds here. That's often a great approach, especially in a saturated market. Now, when I think about gamers and fitness, I gotta just give a shout out to my good friend, Steve Cam.

That's the first thing I think of. Like he has branded himself really well. He started a brand called Nerd Fitness, which is all about helping nerds, gamers, knowledge workers level up their lives. You know, and his principle is kind of like for everybody out there who's spending a lot of time, you know, sitting at a desk, not necessarily having a great deal of mobility all the time, but they're also a fan of gaming or sci-fi or Star Wars, fantasy, anything in the nerd world, broadly speaking, and he combined the world of fitness with the nerd culture by speaking their language and solving their specific problems. So, you know, Jack here has got a similar idea.

And of course there's room for more than one. There's all kinds of different approaches and methods, voices, personalities, and such. So I do think it's helpful to look at what Steve's done just because it's been so successful. And again, really speaks the language of a person, you know, in this genre or that topic. So in terms of designing a personal fitness routine or thinking about, you know, how are you gonna help people specifically?

You could create a leveling system where your clients unlock rewards or achievements upon hitting fitness milestones. You know, that very much ties into gaming. As for monetization, that can come through multiple channels, like from a subscription or maybe affiliate commissions for something, even a certification program for other trainers interested. But one way or another, you're gonna have to get started with a specific service or platform. So I think you've got the good idea.

It needs to go now from idea to offer. How are you gonna make money? What is the specific service? And Jack, of course, I'm wishing you well. Final Fantasy Meets Physical Fitness, I love that.

Let us know how it goes, if we can support or help in any way. And listeners, if you have a question, an idea of your own, sidehustleschool.com/questions. Thank you for being out there. I'm actually taking a trip over the next week or two. And maybe I'll take you along with me virtually.
