"Hi, Chris, this is Steve from Branson, Missouri. I've been listening to the show for three or four months now and it has quickly become my favorite podcast. I'm an audio engineer with almost 30 years experience in live audio and studio recording. I've recently become interested in doing sound for Christian and family friendly films as my side hustle. My question is, what is the best way to do market research and find out what the audio needs of the Christian filmmaking community are.

These filmmakers network with each other on Facebook groups and possibly other places as well. My thought was to make a website with a marketing research forum on it and provide a link to it on my Facebook page or in a post. I also thought about offering a discount on my services as a way to say thank you for filling out the form and use the info to create an email list. Does this sound like a good idea or is there a better way to approach marketing research? Thanks in advance for your answer."
